national SCMs, and has consultative status
with the United Nations through ECOSOC (Cat. II) and with UNESCO (Cat. B.)
The National Office is staffed for 20 hrs a week by the National Secretary.
The National Office, located in the Christian World Service building in
Christchurch, receives mail for all National Coordinators, the Treasurer, the
Administrator, and the National Coordinating Group. It is also the contact point
for the media and other agencies.
