THE NATIONAL COORDINATING GROUP Meeting on the 1st
November endorsed Jemma Allen's application for the Bossey
scholarship for ecumenical studies in Europe. Best of luck in the
application! SCM Aotearoa has been unable to supply someone to assist
in the planning of the Asia Student Youth Gathering 2000, so we are glad
to inform that someone from Australian SCM will be the Pacific
representative.

UNIVERSITY CHAPLAINS Are having a conference in New
Plymouth from the 23th November. We wish them all the best, and will
be sending a letter inviting the chaplains to be in contact with local SCMs.
We know from experience that Chaplains can be an important part of the
faith community that is SCM on campus, and consider community action
to be a fundamental part of working out our lives in response to the
Christian traditions.
